Dog Friendly Businesses in the Fylde
We asked the members of our group to tell us about the dog-friendly businesses they have come across and were very surprised just how many they came up with inside a few days - and we know this is a far from exhaustive list. Our members say that dogs are welcomed by all the businesses shown below - subject of course to any stated limitations and to the dogs being well-behaved. The contents of this page have been published in good faith and dog owners should always check with business owners if in doubt.
We have made the point many times that many small businesses in The Fylde benefit from what has been called "The Paw Pound" - the trade from dog owners that results from a welcoming attitude towards dogs. This trade is being put at risk by the ill-thought-out and ill-judged proposals for dog controls from Fylde Council.
If anyone has further suggestions or corrections to this list please contact us via the email address at the foot of this page.
